Lexigo Rules
The objective of Lexigo is to guess the hidden word in the fewest number of guesses possible. The word is made up of 5 english letters and can be found in the infamous darkermango 5 letter word dataset, and after each guess you receive feedback that tells you how close you are. Each row you play will get one of the following feedbacks:
- A green square, which means the letter is the right letter and in the right position.
- A yellow square, which means the guessed letter is the right letter but in the wrong position.
- A gray square (unchanged), which means the letter is not at all in the word.
You keep making guesses until you either guess the word correctly or run out of guesses. The challenge is to use the feedback logically to eliminate possibilities and zero in on the secret word.

About Lexigo
Lexigo is a game heavily inspired by Wordle which was originally created in 2021 by software engineer Josh Wardle as a personal game for himself and his partner. It was released publicly later that year, quickly spreading through social media as players shared daily results using colored squares. In early 2022 the game and its simple once‑a‑day format were acquired by The New York Times, which now hosts the official daily puzzle.
This implementation keeps the classic 5‑letter, 6‑guess format while using an open word list so you can play multiple rounds in one session and achieve the highest streak you can.

The primary script that runs our games seems to not have loaded, somehow.
This is in despite of the fact other scripts seem to have loaded up just fine.
This issue has been automatically reported and we're looking into it, but we'd be very grateful if you could send a report to support@simplegames.io with any further detail you can think of, including if you're running any script-blocking extensions, ad-blockers, or if your browser is set to block specific types of scripts.
