Blockdoku Rules
🧩 How to play
Drag one of the three pieces onto the 9x9 board and release it over a valid group of empty squares. Pieces cannot overlap existing blocks or extend beyond the board.
The three tray positions stay fixed until all three pieces are used. Then a fresh set of three randomly selected and randomly rotated pieces appears.
✨ Ways to clear
- Fill all 9 squares in a horizontal row.
- Fill all 9 squares in a vertical column.
- Fill every square in one of the board's nine 3x3 boxes.
- One placement can clear several rows, columns, and boxes at the same time.
🔥 Scoring and combos
Every square in a placed piece is worth 1 point. Every cleared square is also worth 1 point before the clear multiplier is applied.
Clearing sections on consecutive moves builds the bonus multiplier. Clearing multiple sections with one placement advances the multiplier once for every completed section.
Available shapes
These 18 shapes can appear in the tray. Lines, L shapes, diagonals, zigzags, and other pieces may arrive in any rotated direction.
💀 Game over
The game ends when none of the remaining tray pieces can fit anywhere on the board. Keep space for awkward shapes and avoid creating isolated holes.

About Blockdoku
Blockdoku combines block-placement puzzles with a Sudoku-style 9x9 board. Plan around the three visible pieces, clear rows, columns, and 3x3 boxes, and build consecutive-clear combos for a higher score.
Unlike a timed puzzle, Blockdoku lets you pause and study every placement. The challenge comes from balancing short-term clears with enough open space for the next three-piece set.
Your statistics track completed and abandoned games, scores, play time, pieces placed, your best single clear, and your highest bonus multiplier.

Game failed to load
The primary script that runs our games seems to not have loaded, somehow.
This is in despite of the fact other scripts seem to have loaded up just fine.
This issue has been automatically reported and we're looking into it, but we'd be very grateful if you could send a report to support@simplegames.io with any further detail you can think of, including if you're running any script-blocking extensions, ad-blockers, or if your browser is set to block specific types of scripts.
